Dr Simeon Ngweso is an Australian-trained Urologist who began his healthcare career as a clinical pharmacist before undertaking postgraduate medical studies at the University of Notre Dame Australia in Fremantle.

He completed his early medical and surgical training across all major teaching hospitals in Western Australia before relocating to Victoria for advanced urology training. Following completion of his specialist training, he undertook post-fellowship training in Australia and overseas in robotic urological surgery and Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP).

Dr Ngweso holds a Master of Surgery degree by thesis and is actively involved in research and medical education. He is an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer with Monash University and also a Consultant Urologist at Monash Health, where he serves as the Prevocational Unit Supervisor and Clinical Lead of Endourology. In this role, he leads the management of complex kidney stone disease. Dr Ngweso also provides urological services for patients in the Gippsland region as a Visiting Medical Officer at Latrobe Regional Hospital.

Dr Ngweso provides comprehensive care across all areas of general urology. His particular clinical interests include robotic surgery for urological cancers and kidney reconstruction, complex kidney stone surgery including percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) and Holmium Laser Enucleation of Prostate (HoLEP) for benign prostatic enlargement. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care using the latest surgical techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes.
