Dr Manjeet Sandhu is a consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with a PhD in Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

Dr. Sandhu has had extensive training in all areas of gastroenterology and her focus encompasses Inflammatory bowel disease, iron deficiency anaemia, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, bowel cancer screening, liver disease and irritable bowel syndrome. Manjeet is committed to her patients and is passionate about providing high quality care, both in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Urgent patients will be reviewed quickly and Manjeet values excellent communication with her referring practitioners.

Dr Sandhu graduated from the University of Melbourne with honours in 2009. She then undertook postgraduate specialist training in Gastroenterology at St Vincent's’ Hospital and Monash Health. Manjeet was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2016. She then went on to complete a fellowship and PhD at Monash University and the Hudson Institute of Medical Research. Manjeet is currently a senior medical specialist at Monash Medical Centre and Casey Hospital. She is actively involved in Inflammatory Bowel Disease clinical trials and research at Monash Health.
