Chief Executive Officer
Maree Wilson joined the hospital in December 2017. She is an experienced healthcare executive with over 20 years' experience at a senior level in the public and private sector. Maree’s exceptional clinical leadership together with her significant management skills will be instrumental in driving Mulgrave through the next phase of its growth. Her existing relationships with staff and VMOs uniquely positions her to execute on the ambitious strategic plan for the hospital. Maree’s passion is Quality Improvement to create the optimum experience for anyone attending or working at the hospital, and ensuring that every patient achieves the best possible outcome from their care.
Terri Atwell has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry with strong project management skills and digital marketing and communication skills. A dedicated healthcare professional with a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing Management.
Tom is our CFO with over 14 years’ experience in the private and public sectors within the healthcare industry. A certified CPA with a masters of commerce, Toms' focus is financial performance and assisting with operational business improvement strategies.
Kay Hotker joined the hospital in February 2018. She is an experienced Cardiac/ Cardiothoracic nurse who has worked in the public and private sector. Kay is passionate about staff education and team development so that our people can realise their full potential.
Liz is a perioperative nurse with 20 years' experience in the operating theatre. Liz worked for 9 years in operating theatres in the UK prior to moving to Australia in 2012 and joining the Mulgrave team in Feb 2019. Liz is passionate about theatre and aspires to deliver the best perioperative experience for our patients.
Melinda Ware-Drakeford has 20 years experience in Customer Service both in the public and private health sectors. Melinda is focussed on streamlining business administration processes to support efficient hospital functioning and performance
She prides herself on leading her teams in focussing on positive patient experience's and excellent customer service.
Gillian Wright is an experienced Quality and Safety Manager with an extensive background and expertise in the quality improvement domain within healthcare over 35 years. Gill has joined our executive team at Mulgrave Private in June 2021 and will contribute significantly to ensuring our standards of care and governance are best practice.
