Dr Logan Bittinger completed his cardiology training at Monash Medical Centre before undertaking specialty training in Cardiac Rhythm Management, cardiac device implantation and catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias.
He then spent a year learning complex ablation techniques, particularly for atrial fibrillation, at Canada’s highest volume centre for atrial fibrillation ablation in Victoria, British Columbia. Logan’s recent research has been centered around Optimal procedural management, quality assurance, avoidance and management of complications, with particular focus on AF ablation.
Logan’s particular interests are management of atrial fibrillation and device therapy for arrhythmias and heart failure.
Logan loves the outdoors – jogging, cycling, driving in the country, sampling nice wines & cheeses and spending time with his family. His latest hobby is Geocaching which takes him to interesting places and keeps him busy.
